Greetings to our Dear Brothers and Sisters in Christ:
Oh! What a
mighty God we serve. Teresa and I consider ourselves to be servants to the
most high God and to others. We desire that God would receive all honor and
all glory in
everything
we say and do. We have been members of River City Love Squad from the
very beginning and we consider it a privilege and an honor to be given
the opportunity to serve as leaders of this ministry for this
appointed time. We are seeking
God for
His direction for River City Love Squad and we ask that you will keep us and
this
ministry in your prayers. We want to thank you for all that
you do to support River City
Love Squad
and pray that you will continue to do so.
We believe
that reaching the homeless and needy is the heartbeat of God. Scripture
tells
us in:
(Luke
4:18-19) The Spirit of the Lord is on me (us), because He has anointed me
(us) to
preach good news to the poor. He has sent me (us) to proclaim
freedom for the prisoners
and
recovery of sight for the blind, to release the oppressed, to proclaim the
year of the
Lord's
favor.
(Isaiah
58:6-9) Is not this the kind of fasting I have chosen: to loose the chains
of
injustice and untie the cords of the yoke, to set the
oppressed free and break every yoke? Is it not to share your food with the
hungry and to provide the poor wanderer with shelter,
when you
see the naked to clothe him, and not to turn away from you own flesh and
blood? Then your light will break forth like the dawn, and
your healing will quickly
appear;
and your righteousness will go before you, and the glory of the Lord will be
your rear guard. Then you will call, and the Lord will answer, you will cry
for help, and he will
say, Here
am I.
(Mark
16-20) Then the disciples went out and preached everywhere, and the Lord
worked with them and confirmed His word by the signs that
accompanied it.
Please
join us in prayer and fasting seeking the manifest presence of God's Glory
on the streets of Louisville, Kentucky; so that as we minister the Word of
God and disciple the
homeless
and needy; souls will be SAVED, HEALED, DELIVERED and lives will be
changed forever for the Glory of God.
Thank you
again for your prayers and support.
